What You Will DoPratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is looking for a highly motivated, goal oriented and detail focused engineer to join its team.
- Lead Project Tasks for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of a cross‑functional group of project, design, structures, and aerodynamic team members.
- Communicate status of technical issues and budgets to Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) leaders, HSE leadership, internal program offices and external customers.
- Collaborate with purchasing, suppliers, customer support and sustainment organizations to support engine deliveries and respond to field challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- 5 years of engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with an advanced degree.
- BS Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced proficiency and knowledge of Project Planning, schedules and prior EVMS/CAM experience.
- Familiarity with Pratt & Whitney Project tools and procedures.
- Familiarity with Gas Turbine hardware.
- Demonstrated leadership in engineering continuous improvement.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to apply for an active security clearance.
