We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our PSCV (Product Safety Certification Validation) Verification Design System Integration team as a Digital Systems Engineer. In this role, you will part of a methods team that is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting V&V system software solutions to enhance the efficiency of validation planning and build/test execution activities. You will work closely with validation engineers to understand process requirements, as well as other software teams across the company to define enterprise-compatible software solutions that best serve the business.
What You Will Do
- Support and lead current software development activities within PSCV
- Understand the requirements of the Engineering user community to deliver optimal software solutions for validation planning of engine build and test activities
- Integrate with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), RTX Digital Technologies, and other Engineering software methods teams to foster strategic alignment across the enterprise
- Assist in the creation of a Digital Thread for the PSCV and Engine Test domain
- Support PSCV core discipline processes and methods to improve communication and efficiency
What You Will Learn
- P&W Verification & Validation processes including System Design, Planning, Assembly, Instrumentation and Test
- P&W Engine programs, models, and technical specifications
- P&W Engineering and Enterprise organizational structures and procedures
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering or an Advanced Degree
- Strong programming skills in multiple languages (Java, Python, C++)
- Experience with data science and system architectures
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Full stack software development experience
- Knowledge of distributed network patterns and methods
- Understanding of MBSE principles and methods (SysML)
- 2+ years engineering experience in aerospace
- Leadership and mentoring skills
