Sr. Temperature Alloys Engineer - Onsite

What You Will Do:

• Execute defined projects focused on high temperature alloy development, characterization, and production implementation enabling new capabilities on current and future jet engines
• Provide engineering judgement and expertise to characterize, quantify, and understand material capabilities of legacy and novel alloys
• Projects will span new/repair technology development, engine safety, production support, and cost reduction amongst other business driven needs
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on multi-disciplinary teams to identify opportunities and create solutions to support business needs
• Work autonomously with limited oversight on projects that are difficult and complex
• Serve customers across the enterprise (supply chain, engine programs, advanced technology) to plan, execute, and report on technical research and development projects
• Communicate effectively across many levels of the organization to both internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications You Must Have:

• B.S. degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Chemistry
• Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering experience or 3 years with an advanced degree (MS or Ph.D.)
• Must be a US Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. This role is a U.S.

-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
