Project Engineering Support
Assist engineering and program teams with project planning, budget management, and performance tracking. Play a critical function in ensuring program execution aligns with cost, schedule, and technical objectives within a highly regulated aerospace environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support engineering project teams with budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain and update cost trackers, financial models, and program dashboards
- Monitor actuals vs. planned spend, identifying risks and opportunities
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, Earned Value Management (EVM) data, and program reviews
- Track and manage project schedules, deliverables, and milestones
- Coordinate with finance, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure accurate reporting and alignment
- Maintain documentation for audit compliance and internal reviews
- Identify process improvement opportunities for tracking tools and reporting efficiency
- Assist with data consolidation for executive briefings and program status updates
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 4-7 years Experience supporting project coordination, budgeting, or financial tracking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments, chemistry or material science

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across technical and financial teams
