Job Description:
Onsite Supplier Support Engineer Seeking Engineers for issue resolution between shop floor and suppliers.
* Daily collaboration with internal teams and suppliers
* Provide delivery commits
* Provide daily follow-up with suppliers to maintain alignment on production needs and resolve discrepancies
* Review of supplier commit trackers to ensure commitments align with production needs
* Requests of direct truck shipments as needed to maintain delivery schedules
* Work with buyer and suppliers to correct paperwork and mitigate delays in part flow thru receiving
* Work with shop floor control planning teams to coordinate release of castings to the grind suppliers to avoid gaps in delivery flow
* Experience with MS Excel
* Experience with SAP *
