HSMC-S Shop Industrial Engineer

• Subject matter expert on manufacturing processes including equipment, floor layouts, work sequence, work instructions, procedures, and workflow.
• Develop and improve standard work.
• Identify process improvement opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchmarking, research, etc.
• Design layouts of equipment and workspace and improve process flow.
• Conduct studies on cost control, productivity, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems.
• Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions.
• Contribute to plans for allocation of resources, materials, and personnel to establish maximum utilization.
• Study product requirements and determine capital equipment and labor staffing to meet requirements.
• Work effectively with other engineers, technicians, operators, and management.
• Conduct machine capacity analysis and identify/manage improvement initiatives to increase efficiency (OEE).
• Have understanding of capital acquisition process – knowledge or background preferred.
• Have working knowledge of product manufacturing / process technologies.
• Participate in and lead Kaizen events.
• Be a self‑starter and able to work with minimal direction.

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations.
• 2+ years of experience in data mining & manipulation with Excel, VBA, SQL, or other methods.

Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD (approximate).
