What You Will Do- Develop and sustain hardware to meet system and module requirements, collaborating with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to address challenges, and ensuring adherence to Pratt & Whitney's engineering processes.
- Support design and optimization activities to achieve durability, performance, cost, and weight goals while meeting customer and program requirements.
- Generate, document, and communicate designs accurately and thoroughly. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are highly desirable.
- Provide analytical assessment, design substantiation, solid models, manufacturing & inspection plans, instrumentation, assembly and installation support from detail design through validation.
- Provide design support for validation testing and engineering investigations.
- Travel up to 10%
- This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering obtained by start date.
- Experience with one or more tools:
Teamcenter, Unigraphics NX, ANSYS, and classical methods of analysis. - Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
- Experience with military nozzles and exhaust systems
- Experience with GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994 and/or 2018
- Experience with Design Engineering

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
