• Develop and implement software and process solutions to improve engineering efficiency and workflow across Hot Section Engineering.
• Collaborate with design, structures, durability, and project engineering teams to understand requirements and optimize execution of their tasks.
• Support hot section module and component development by creating tools and processes that enhance design, validation, and sustainment activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, both in-office and on the shop floor, to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing, quality, and safety.
• Analyze current engineering processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, or enhanced data accessibility.
• Participate in the Hot Section Engineering internship framework by engaging with mentors, applying learned skills, and contributing to project deliverables within a flexible learning environment.

• Engineering Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business.
• Our intern program seeks to help you develop an understanding of the aerospace industry and learn about our company and its operations.

• Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM), and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship session.
• Experience with one or more common programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, C++, or C#.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
