Pratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for our GTF and Commercial Technology Fuel Nozzles. In this very visible role, you will drive technical execution for all fuel nozzle related tasks, investigations, and new product designs.
Only candidates internal to Pratt & Whitney Engineering will be considered for this role.
- Partner with Geared Turbofan (24K, 30K & GTFA) and Commercial Technology CIPT Leaders and Deputies, providing part-level ownership and accountability (cradle to grave), as defined in PW 1.5 L2 Integrated Program Deployment procedure and RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM).
- Lead multi-functional IPT(s) for GTF and commercial technology fuel nozzles within Hot Section Engineering. Manage, identify, and close key technical risks and issues, ensuring each item has a defined action plan, measurable progress, and closure within agreed timelines while leveraging RLPM Operating Norms.
- Maintain responsibility for fuel nozzles across a large operational fleet by managing active field investigations, safety issues, and fleet management programs.
- Lead the IPT in identifying, managing, and closing key technical risks and issues, ensuring each item has a defined action plan, measurable progress, and closure within agreed timelines.
- Guide the IPT through successful technical and program reviews by setting clear preparation milestones, validating technical content, and ensuring all deliverables meet program standards.
- Represent the IPT in interactions and presentations with Customers, SIPT, IPMT, and Senior Leadership, delivering concise, accurate, and timely technical and program updates.
- Support our CIPT Deputies in the management of engineering resources (budget and headcount) required to maintain task schedules.
- Provide close engagement and support to external fuel nozzle suppliers.
- Domestic travel up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- 8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of related engineering experience.
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Aerospace or turbofan engine industry experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with gas turbine fuel nozzles, fuel components, and/or fuel systems.
- Understanding of Pratt & Whitney’s Leadership Operating Model (LOM) or similar Proven ability to lead teams and drive strategic initiatives.
- Resourceful problem-solver for complex vendor- and customer-facing issues Continuous Improvement background (LEAN, CORE, ACE, Six Sigma).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience working across functions and organizational levels.
- Results‑driven approach with a track record of task completion Experience as an IPT Leader or similar role.
- Project management skills and familiarity with tools such as Agile, risk-based decision making, proposal development, task baselining, EVMS, and SAP.

Salary Range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
