- Empower and lead the RPCL Product Engineering team in casting development activities including part quality requirements, casting mold & tooling design, work instructions, etc.
- Lead continuous improvement activities and enforce standardized engineering practices, processes, tools and methods across all products.
- Develop the product engineering team in skill sets which are critical for group success.
- Manage the resources and assignments across the team.
- Develop technical and project plans for new castings to meet all casting quality requirements.
- Support the RPCL Operations team as needed to meet program requirements.
- Travel less than 10%.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a technically-related field and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Experience as a Product Engineer for aerospace castings.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Prior experience as supervisor in Engineering or Operations Engineering.
- Leadership, critical thinking, business discernment, innovation, collaboration, written & verbal communication, presentation, analytical thinking, problem solving, customer focus, attention to detail.
- Six Sigma green belt or equivalent.
- Background with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) process.
- Highly self-directed, quick learner, with a strong drive for results, team‑building, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
