What You Will Do- Learn the commercial engine certification process and apply it for the active commercial certification programs including the NGPF (Next Generation Product Family) Programs.
- Collaborate with existing certification specialists, ODA Unit Members, CIPTs, other systems disciplines and technical specialists to support development of substantiation plans and reports for initial engine model certification activity and post certification design changes.
- Track certification deliverables through the various steps of the certification process and coordinate with members of the various engine program SIPTs (System Integrated Product Teams).
- Lead validation projects (via the FAA) for certified product through foreign regulators following established agreements.
- Once fully proficient in this position you may eventually be eligible as an ODA unit member with FAA delegated authority providing dedicated support to one or more specific engine programs.
- Travel is up to 10%.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 8 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 5 years of engineering experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Strong engine technical knowledge
- Familiarity with the FAA Type Certification process (FAR 21) and FAA certification design standards (FAR 33, 34, 25)
- Experience with in one or more P&W engineering organizations while supporting prior certification or post certification activities (Validation, Test, Performance, Structures, Hot Section, Cold Section, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
