What You Will Do- Evaluate manufacturing processes and hardware to determine compliance with applicable requirements
- Support day-to-day manufacturing activities such as development and release of inspection processes/techniques
- Procure and maintain inspection tooling and equipment
- Support shop non-compliance investigations to determine root cause, identifying robust corrective actions and tracking effectiveness
- Support preparation efforts for internal/external quality audits
- Develop and deploy standardized quality engineering practices, processes, tools, and methods
- Use Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools to develop and prioritize ideas for, and lead execution of, process improvement projects to reduce process variation, increase throughput, and improve part quality
- Develop ideas, secure funding, and execute capital equipment projects to improve process capability
- A University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Six Sigma green belt or equivalent
- Experience working with nickel alloys and single crystal casting process
- Experience with Pratt & Whitney’s Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Fluency in product and tooling electronic definition interpretation
- Implement, maintain and monitor tooling for cast/core products and designing/monitoring associated quality assurance/control measures
Salary Range: $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
