** The Impact You'll Make
*** Work on complex transportation design projects in CT, MA, or RI
* Create horizontal and vertical alignments and develop detailed 3D roadway models
* Perform engineering calculations for pavement design, traffic engineering, and drainage systems
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare high-quality deliverables including design drawings, reports, specifications, presentations, and cost estimates
* Provide construction phase support by reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and responding to contractor questions
* Conduct site visits to evaluate existing roadways and drainage systems
* Maintain thorough and organized project documentation
** The Expertise You'll Bring
*** BS in Civil Engineering
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year
* 0-4 years of relevant experience in transportation engineering
* Familiarity with Open Roads and AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred)
* Working knowledge of DOT standards and procedures (preferred)
* Strong verbal/written communication skills and ability to collaborate with in-person and remote teams
* Excellent time management and organization to work on concurrent projects and deliver projects on time
