Job Overview
Position:
Principal Specialist, Military Engines - General Finance (Onsite), East Hartford, Connecticut, United States.
- Financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Pricing and estimating (ROM and formal proposal).
- Volume and demand planning.
- Investment and capacity modeling.
- Supply chain integration and supplier flowdown.
- Contract T&Cs strategy and proposal development.
- Cross‑functional integration across Ops, SC, Finance, Programs, and Sustainment.
- Support for executive briefings.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required with at least 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Working experience in Financial Modeling, Business Case Development, Forecasting, Sensitivity Analysis, Linear Modeling, Machine Learning.
- Strong MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment to deliver accurate reporting to internal and external customers, including senior leadership.
- Strong data analytics skills and interpersonal skills with ability to work with individuals and/or team at all levels.
- Organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication.
Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD. Salary is a good faith estimate representing all experience levels. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs.
Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
