East Hartford Outpatient (EHOP) therapists have the unique opportunity to provide therapy to adults, children and families through in‑person and telehealth sessions for diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy. Opportunities for case consultation, supervision, training and professional growth are provided.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides assessment and treatment interventions consistent with fidelity to evidence‑based models when applicable.
  • Documents ongoing client progress and outcomes.
  • Demonstrates competency in age‑related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.
  • Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providers.
  • Provides crisis assessment and intervention to monitor status of clients in crisis.
  • Responsible for maintaining client and staff records according to agency policy.
  • Participates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.
  • Develops and provides therapeutic group therapy, individual, and family therapy.
  • Additional duties as required.
Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree in mental health field.

Experience: Demonstrated in‑depth knowledge and experience as a psychotherapist working with people with mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders; training and experience in all aspects of mental health treatment, assessment, evaluation, and provision of individual, group, and family therapy; relevant experience to program model to which the individual is assigned.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW or another license to practice psychotherapy in the State of CT required. All MSW staff must possess an LMSW or LCSW.

Compensation

$56,797 annually minimum, and up commensurate upon experience.

* Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience and internal equity, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign‑on incentives.
