About the RoleThe F135 Sustainment Data Management and Analytics (SDMA) organization supports sustainment contracts for the F135 engine powering the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. This role is a Customer Data Manager responsible for ensuring accurate, reliable, and integrated depot-level maintenance data across the F135 enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Align data across multiple platforms and serve as the Authoritative Source of Truth.
- Conduct data quality reviews of fleet status versus maintenance task limits, handle exception cases, and coordinate resources for data reconciliation.
- Serve as the FDM focal for flight test and FT Engine Management support, including serially tracked part reconciliation and troubleshooting with Engine Managers.
- Support ongoing Fleet Management Campaigns by ensuring execution, completion tracking, and compliance reporting of Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD).
- Provide data‑driven insights as part of the Customer Support Integrated Product Team to communicate fleet issues to internal and external customers.
- Identify automation opportunities within systems, processes, and tools and assist in developing new processes and tools.
- Ensure proactive availability of reconciled “lifing” data for Module and LRU repair value streams.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Customer Service Engineering, Global Service Engineering, Support Equipment Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Depot Engine Management to support end‑to‑end process execution.
- Deliver data quality metrics and participate in depot‑level meetings, working groups, and capacity reviews as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, data science, data management, engineering, field services, depot engine or quality management (or an advanced degree with 5 years of equivalent experience).
- U.S. citizenship.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
- Master’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with jet engines and maintenance concepts.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and project management skills.
- Experience in engineering, data science, data analytics, or AI/ML.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and short deadlines.
Onsite – employees will work primarily onsite at the assigned location. Commuting is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $107,500 USD – $204,500 USD.
