Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled individual to contribute to the success of the Unit Level Forecasting team. The team specializes in understanding hardware demands for maintenance performed at the Unit (military base) level. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced technical tools and data-driven methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance supply chain forecasting processes, and develop innovative solutions to optimize global sustainment inventory.
This position provides a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of supply chain analytics, utilizing platforms such as Power BI and Databricks to deliver actionable insights and impactful visualizations.
- Design and manage intuitive, real‑time dashboards using platforms like Power BI to support the F135 Supply Chain network, monitoring performance metrics, tracking key trends, and providing high‑level insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize tools such as Databricks to create and optimize complex queries for large datasets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data analysis and modeling.
- Regularly interact with internal and external stakeholders to refine data inputs, review model outputs, and present detailed performance data and insights to leadership and key decision‑makers.
- Analyze the impact of program initiatives, including the Engine Core Upgrade (ECU) and Advanced Lifing Algorithms (ALAs), on unit‑level part demands and incorporate findings into forecasting models.
- Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging CORE methodologies to enhance forecasting functions and streamline workflows across the supply chain.
- Leverage technical expertise to enhance and mature existing data structures within the organization by supporting data migration processes, redefining and optimizing data connections, and implementing more efficient, scalable, and sustainable solutions to support long‑term operational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, data analytics, STEM, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience in the same fields.
- Minimum 8 years of supply chain management, business, data analytics, or STEM experience (or 5 years if advanced degree).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data‑driven recommendations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a cross‑functional organization at all levels including senior leadership.
- 5+ years proficiency in SAP, Power BI, Oracle SQL, Python Programming.
- Understanding of forecasting tools, including time‑series forecasting, SPM, and FLOSIM.
- Experience in developing metrics, KPIs, performance dashboards, and project management.
- Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or Industrial Power industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, discrete modeling software, and data visualization tools.
