IT Project Engineer

IT Project Engineer Position Overview

• Performing technical tasks including server, network, and IT infrastructure installations, as well as ongoing support
• Playing an integral role in the security and overall functionality of environments providing guidance, and alignment with industry standards and best practices
• Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing all components in a business computing environment, including VoIP technologies
• Travel as needed, typically within a two-hour radius

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems (2025 and older) including virtual technology including Hyper‑V and VMWare
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365’s configurations including Email, One Drive, SharePoint, and Azure as well as on‑prem Exchange Server
• Expertise with Server Roles and Features commonly found within organizations including Active Directory, IIS, GPO's and common networking services such as DNS, DHCP, etc.
• Expertise in all Microsoft PC Operating Systems
• Troubleshooting of network infrastructure including Switches, advanced VLAN configurations, Wi‑Fi and QOS and VoIP integrations
• Advanced skillset with Security Appliances (Firewalls) and VPN configurations
• Familiarity with security tools such as MDR, EDR, A/V, MFA, etc.
