Reporting directly to the CCA Campaign Manager within Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, this role will position our family of engines for growth across priority markets while supporting the maturation of technologies aligned with the broader product portfolio.
The CCA International Capture Manager will support multiple competitive pursuits across international markets, working closely with RTX sister business units, regional organizations, and in-country teams responsible for OCONUS customer engagement and capture. This position will ensure enterprise alignment across customer strategies, product offerings, technology investments, and pursuit priorities. The Capture Manager will collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand emerging mission requirements, support the shaping of propulsion solutions, and position the portfolio for emerging opportunities.
This will include leading or supporting matrixed teams through opportunity qualification, strategy development, investment planning, proposal development, contract award, and transition to Program Management. Success in this position requires a strong ability to navigate sister-BU organizational factors and standard work, align approaches to both internal and external customer needs, and clearly communicate strategies, decisions, risks, and recommendations to customers and senior leadership.
Develop and execute international capture strategies for CCA, autonomous aircraft, uncrewed aircraft systems, and adjacent advanced propulsion opportunities. Coordinate closely with RTX sister business units, regional teams, and in-country organizations to develop integrated customer and capture strategies. Serve as the primary Military Engines focal point for assigned international CCA propulsion pursuits. Position the family of engines against emerging customer missions, requirements, aircraft concepts, and acquisition strategies.
Lead customer analysis, competitive assessments, win strategy development, price-to-win activities, color-team reviews, and internal capture gates. Translate customer requirements and market intelligence into product priorities, technology roadmaps, and recommended investment plans. Coordinate with engineering, advanced technology, programs, finance, contracts, legal, export compliance, supply chain, and other functions to mature and execute capture strategies. Support the planning and execution of engine integration, technology maturation, and demonstration activities aligned with priority pursuits.
Establish pursuit milestones, critical paths, budgets, schedules, decision points, and performance metrics. Identify capture risks and opportunities early enough for corrective actions or investment decisions to be made. Lead or support responses to requests for information, requests for proposals, market surveys, and other formal customer solicitations. Develop and present capture plans, strategic recommendations, technology roadmaps, and investment requests to senior leadership.
Support Foreign Military Sales, Direct Commercial Sales, export authorization, and international industrial participation strategies as applicable.
