Salary: $24.04 per hour

TITLE:
Bilingual Tutor
- Bachelor's Degree
- Direct classroom experience with children, Pre-K to Twelve
- Fluent in English and Spanish languages, both written and oral, preferred but not required
Building principal and/or K-12 Supervisor of World Languages, Gifted & Talented, ESL and Bilingual Programs
JOB GOALProvides support to specialized area of instruction as specified in the State of Connecticut Priority School District Grant
Performance Responsibilities- Provides assistance in basic skills.
- Tutors small group instruction.
- Monitors homework centers.
- Reinforces study and organizational skills.
- Interacts with parents, teachers and other support staff.
- Assists with conflict resolution and peer mediation sessions.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor of ESL/Bilingual or the building principal.
- Daily hours: 6 hours/day

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the BOE's policy on Evaluation of Non-Certified Staff.
