Position: Associate Director, Mature Commercial Engines Strategic Sourcing (Onsite)

Position Overview

Associate Director, Mature Commercial Engines Strategic Sourcing – Onsite, U.S. citizenship required. No security clearance required.

What You Will Do

The Commercial Engines Production Operations Team seeks a Mature Commercial Engines (MCE) Strategic Sourcing Manager to oversee industrial recovery plans and supportability for Pratt & Whitney internal & external shops for MCE legacy programs (V2500, PW2000, PW4000, GP7000, FT4000, GG8). Responsibilities include leading a direct and contract labor team, identifying and mitigating industrial risks, managing outsourcing/in sourcing plans, implementing sourcing strategies, evaluating supplier relationships, tracking KPIs, driving part supply solutions, and managing cold start activities across MCE programs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 12 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing/shop operations, quality, supply chain, or a closely related field.
  • Master's degree and at least 10 years of experience in the same fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in program and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing relationships, establishing credibility and respect at all organizational levels.
  • Skilled at leading and managing a technical team with cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience influencing and forming partnerships with business leaders, external supply chains, and operational excellence teams while managing multiple complex priorities.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Technical experience in engineering change management and implementation.
  • Experience using process control, Six‑Sigma, and/or Lean manufacturing tools.
Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $157,200

USD – $298,800
