Account specialist, Product Introduction; Onsite

Overview

The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team at Pratt & Whitney collaborates with suppliers and internal product development teams to support next‑generation engine platforms. The NPI Account Specialist delivers sourcing strategy, supplier management, and risk mitigation across multiple functional groups.

U.S. citizenship is required. The candidate must obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret level). A valid Secret clearance must exist after day
1.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategy and coordinate source selection alignment.
• Track and manage supplier work in process (WIP), identify delivery risks and maintain promise dating.
• Maintain purchase orders, including technical definition changes, supplier exceptions, pricing and delivery.
• Use minimum requirements standard work as a competitive advantage.
• Evaluate technology and manufacturing readiness (TRL & MRL) for new initiatives.
• Coordinate resolution of quality issues, QN’s and RCCA for supplier quality escapes.
• Identify and manage supplier risks to program industrial plans.

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management or related field.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Regional Offices, Programs).
• Customer‑focused with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and associated flow‑downs.

Onsite. Employees work primarily on‑site, including production and maintenance roles. Candidates may be required to attend in‑person interview steps at an office location.

Base salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, employee scholarship program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays, subject to eligibility and business unit. Eligibility for incentive compensation programs may apply based on level and collective‑bargaining status.
