The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team collaborates with suppliers and Pratt & Whitney’s product development teams (IPT’s). The candidate should be customer‑focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to deliver results.
New Product Introduction oversees all aspects of supply chain management—sourcing strategy, negotiation, order placement, and delivery assurance—supporting military and commercial next‑generation engine platforms with cutting‑edge technologies and designs.
Responsibilities- Creating the sourcing strategy and coordinating source selection alignment.
- Proactively tracking and managing supplier work in process (WIP), identifying risks to planned delivery, and maintaining promise dating.
- Maintaining purchase orders, including technical definition changes, supplier exceptions, pricing and delivery.
- Using minimum requirements standard work as a competitive advantage.
- Evaluating Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL & MRL) for efforts.
- Coordinating resolution of quality issues, QNs, and RCCA for supplier quality escapes.
- Identifying and managing supplier risks to program industrial plans.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.

- Understands how to interpret blueprints, specifications, and associated flow down.
The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits vary by business unit and collective‑bargaining agreements. Additional incentive compensation programs may be available.
