Position: Production & Assembly Technician (Precision Components)
Job Summary:

We are seeking a Production & Assembly Technician to join our specialized manufacturing team. This role focuses on the high-precision processing and assembly of piezoceramic components and transducers. You will be responsible for the delicate execution of metal plating and fine component assembly, ensuring that every piece meets exacting technical standards. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys meticulous, hands-on work that requires a steady hand and a sharp eye for detail.

Essential Duties:
  • Precision Plating & Coating: Execute electroless nickel and gold plating on small, fragile ceramic materials with extreme care.
  • Intricate Assembly: Handle and assemble miniature components for transducer production, requiring high manual dexterity and patience.
  • Chemical Precision: Accurately mix and maintain specialized plating baths; monitor timing and temperatures to ensure perfect material bonding.
  • Visual Quality Inspection: Use magnification tools or visual cues to inspect components for microscopic defects, ensuring 100% adherence to quality specs.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain precise logs and production travelers to track the "birth certificate" of each high-tech component.
  • Cleanroom Standards: Maintain a highly organized, debris-free workspace to prevent contamination of sensitive electronic materials.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a role requiring high manual dexterity-such as small-parts assembly, laboratory work, jewelry making, or electronics repair-is highly preferred.
  • An exceptional ability to follow multi-step technical recipes and assembly instructions without error.
  • A disciplined approach to safety, PPE, and process consistency in a light industrial environment.
