- Support maturation of current model‑based engineering tools to production readiness, including assisting in validation activities for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.
- Provide help‑desk operations for current and future deployed model‑based tools, resolving user issues, performing debugging, and coordinating defect resolution with software vendors and internal developers.
- Assist the MB‑DMI Strategic Lead to develop and implement cross‑functional strategies for consumption of MBD data elements within native and derivative tool chains.
- Perform validation and production‑readiness assessments of the model‑based tools ecosystem, ensuring tools support consistent digital product definition for Production parts.
- Support efforts to standardize Engineering usage conventions, modeling practices, and consumption patterns for all supported model‑based tools.
- Maintain and sustain tools used for development‑part definition, ensuring compatibility as new capabilities mature and standards evolve.
- Contribute to scalable software stack development and sustainment planning to ensure continuity across upstream design and downstream manufacturing/inspection systems.
- Assist in evaluating and integrating software enhancements (e.g., NX updates, PMI improvements) into established enterprise roadmaps and tool deployment plans.
- Conduct consumption testing and data validation for MBD elements across PLM, CAD, CAM, CAI, and MES systems.
- Collaborate with software vendors to guide development, debugging, enhancement prioritization, and long‑term tool evolution.
- Work with Manufacturing, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Digital Technologies teams to understand their digital maturity and provide debugging, troubleshooting, and adoption support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- 5+ years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a related field and 3+ years of related engineering experience
- Experience with Model‑Based Enterprise, Model‑Based Definition, Model‑Based Manufacturing, and Model‑Based Inspection principles
- Experience with PLM, CAD, CAM, CAI, and MES systems (NX, Teamcenter, Teamcenter Manufacturing, Teamcenter Quality)
- Experience maturing engineering software to meet QMS and operational requirements
- Hands‑on experience with neutral model formats (STEP, QIF, JT, etc.) and their consumption by downstream systems
- Experience supporting multi‑disciplinary engineering and manufacturing workflows
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- Active Secret Clearance Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter ecosystem
- Familiarity with Teamcenter Manufacturing, Teamcenter Quality, Solumina/iBase‑t, SAP, or enterprise CAI platforms
- Experience in Agile development or tool deployment frameworks
- Experience providing support or help‑desk operations for engineering tools
