Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Shift Differential: +15% for 2nd shift
Overtime: Available
Experience Level: Mid–Senior (5+ years inspection experience)
The Work You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
- Perform final and in-process inspection of aerospace engine components
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using both CMM and manual inspection tools
- Create, edit, and correlate PC-DMIS programs based on prints and solid models
- Verify measurements using both CMM data and hard gaging methods
- Interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and customer specifications
- Ensure all inspected parts meet customer requirements for acceptance
- Identify non-conforming parts and complete required documentation for rework or disposition
- Support incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Work independently to troubleshoot inspection and measurement issues
You’ll work with equipment such as:
- Inspection Equipment: CMM machines
- Software: PC-DMIS
- Inspection Tools: Micrometers, calipers, swing gages, height gages, and other precision measuring equipment
- Aerospace engine components
- Precision machined metal parts (Inconel, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Aluminum)
- 5+ years of inspection experience in aerospace or manufacturing
- Strong experience with CMM operation and PC-DMIS programming
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Experience performing dimensional and visual inspections
- Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with incoming, in-process, and final inspection
- Experience building or calibrating hard gaging
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
