Airfoil Tool Developer

Location:

East Hartford, Connecticut, U.S.

Onsite role. U.S. citizens or eligible persons only.

• Identify technical needs within engineering organization and translate them into clear software requirements that drive design, development, and testing of high-quality applications.
• Work as part of a methods or IPT team to develop and support the Airfoil Design System tool and process.
• Interface and collaborate with product stakeholders/customers to align on requirements, manage applications, and communicate progress.
• Prepare and maintain documentation and user guides for applications.
• Drive improvements in Methods processes and best practices using the principles of CORE.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• 8 years of engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of related engineering experience.

• MS in Engineering or a software‑related field.
• Experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, or other major software languages.
• Design/analysis experience with turbine airfoils, cooling holes, and/or internal cooling circuits.
• Experience with NX, Simcenter, Teamcenter, NXOpen, and StarCCM+NX tool development.
• Experience with build tools Gradle, Maven, or Ant.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Git Hub, Jira, and other product management software.
• Ability to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.

Salary range: $107,500 - $204,500. Eligible for relocation. Additional incentive compensation may be available based on level and performance.
