Job Summary

Mental and commercial aviation industries are complex and increasingly data driven. Our analysts transform massive datasets into actionable intelligence, supporting mission‑critical operations for military engines. The role focuses on building and running state‑machine models for forecasting and scenario analysis to aid overhaul, repair, and maintenance scheduling of military engines.

What You Will Do
  • Manage priorities to deliver timely forecasts and scenario analyses to customers, ensuring high quality and zero error.
  • Develop and enhance C++ and Python code for existing forecasting tools (e.g., FloSimLX), including automation and predictive models up to AI/ML techniques.
  • Build a Python web application to support forecasting accuracy initiatives.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot model outcomes, making code improvements as needed to maintain accuracy.
  • Collaborate with product, technical managers, and other stakeholders to translate customer requests into analytical solutions.
Qualifications
  • Required: University degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years in engineering or related technical roles.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex results to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Basic knowledge of Visual Studio.
  • Intermediate knowledge of probability, statistics, and data science mathematical principles.
  • Experience with C++ and building state‑machine models for forecasting.
  • Experience working with agile lean manufacturing processes.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance (Secret level).
  • Preferred: Advanced knowledge of Python and C++.
  • Advanced probability and statistics background.
  • Experience with distributed processing of large datasets and cloud computing environments (Azure or Amazon).
Security Clearance

U.S. citizenship is required. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret clearance.
