Timeline of the job?The Assurance Intern is a seasonal position that will begin the week of May 10, 2027, and end approximately December 17, 2027.
This will be an in-office Internship role, while working approximately 24 hours per week.
Qualifications- Pursuing Bachelor's degree Accounting and 150 credit hours
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Understand the rules, regulations, and professional code of conduct of the AICPA
- Understand basic accounting principles
- Use of debits & credits and relationship between accounts
- Proficient at completing audit programs (Cash, A/P, PPE)
- Is proficient at conducting single audit testing
- Understand how to use IDEA and F/A solutions
- Understanding of basic financial statements
- Employee has a sense of urgency or promptness to achieve goals
- Experience with accounting software through classwork
- Aspirations to become a CPA and develop a public accounting career
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and take direction from multiple managers
- Interest in community involvement
