Com Art Sci is looking for a Content Creator Intern who is creative and passionate about content creation. You will be producing digital content for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and other college needs. The right candidate will have experience filming, photography, editing and publishing social content, capturing audio, editing in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, and understanding the basics of social media.
The right candidate will be eager to learn and is excited to bring innovative ideas to the table. You will leave this role with new skills and an incredible portfolio.
We ask for someone with experience capturing and editing content; excellent communication skills; video and photography equipment and lighting skills; and ability to handle multiple projects camera experience is a plus. You should understand the various delivery formats for social media and specifications. Applicants with skills in Adobe Creative Suite are preferred. Skills in Canva are helpful, but not required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Plan, capture, and edit new and existing video/photo content for social media and website, including staged shoots, event photography, and candid moments.
- Learn industry standards under the guidance of the Com Art Sci Mar Com team.
- Format content for various platforms and delivery.
- Ability to use Adobe Suite products such as Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Assist in the development, research, and maintenance of content for social media platforms.
- Actively pursuing bachelor’s degree in related communication, journalism, digital storytelling, advertising, public relations or similar field of study.
- Experience with cameras, audio and lighting equipment.
- Comfortable being on camera.
- Displays a high level of creativity and innovation.
- Understand the basics of social media (trends, posting content, writing captions, hashtag research, community engagement, and the purpose of main social media platforms).
- Ability to lift video equipment.
- Able to work onsite.
