Location:East Neighborhood Dining Halls Akers/Holmes
Pay: $14.73
Note: Due to the minimum wage increase at MSU, the starting rate for this position will be $16 effective 8/9/26. Those hired prior to 8/9/26 will be brought to the new minimum.
As a Host, you will be responsible for handling credit/debit card transactions for dining hall sales. You will also be responsible for checking student ’s and assisting customers with any related questions. It is your job to provide outstanding customer service and ensure that guests are greeted in a friendly manner.
Typical Duties- Handling minor credit card transactions
- Assisting customers with questions and related issues
- Responding to customer issues
- Communicating with supervisors and managers to assist with customer issues
- Working flexibly to meet operational needs (including possible reassignment to the dining room or serving venues)
