We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and support the dentist in delivering excellent patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and plaque/calculus removal
- Conduct oral health assessments and document patient conditions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including gingivitis and periodontal disease
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assist dentists during examinations when needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Maintain dental equipment and operatory cleanliness
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Certification to administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and patient care standards
- Proficiency with dental software Dentrix preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to educate and motivate patients

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
