Now Hiring - Physical Therapist. At Doctors of Physical Therapy our Physical Therapists are the heart of our clinics. We are looking for a part to full time Physical Therapist to uphold our excellent patient care standards with one-on-one treatments and contribute to our welcoming and collaborative culture. This position is located in our East Lansing clinic.

Schedule:

day shift with some early evenings.

We welcome new grads, and those seeking part or full time work. Full time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package; part time will be eligible for partial benefits.

• Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards
• Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings
• Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and design a clinically superior patient program that supports patient success
• Develop short and long-term goals for patients
• Implement the plan of care
• Provide comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality
• Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment
• Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy
• Plan and execute discharge of patient
• Maintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops and continuing education
• Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including other health care professionals, insurance companies, third party payers, case managers, etc.
