Dining Room Supervisor

Burcham Hills is an upscale senior living retirement community located in the backyard of Michigan State University in East Lansing MI We currently have a vacancy for a Dining Room Supervisor to work a Flexible Full Time schedule The shift times would vary between 600am 230pm and 1115am 730pm In this position a Dining and Retail Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of the dining room personnel to provide excellent service to residentsclients as well as maintain excellent sanitation standards and in addition to but not limited to the following duties Customer Service Oversee resident meal service

Sanitation Monitor quality assurance activities and perform audits as scheduleddirected

Teamwork Ensure dining room severs carry out assigned duties and communicate effectively

Ensure paperwork is maintained and available for staff

Assist in the onboarding and training of new dining room attendants

Assist with ensuring adequate numbers of employees are scheduled to cover shifts

Ensure special functions are set up according to food requests

Attend in service training and education sessions as assigned
