Housekeeping Attendant

$16.00 an hour!

As a Housekeeping Public Attendant you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center public spaces and bathrooms. In order to be successful, you must be a self-starter and able to multitask. It is your job to make sure that the hotel public spaces are presentable at all times.

• Cleaning and sanitizing public restrooms
• Vacuuming carpets and mopping hard floors
• Properly sorting recycling and disposing of trash
• Communicating with supervisors and other team members via personal radio, etc.

This position is not for MSU students as it is a non-student position.

• Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• Must be able to move up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
• Must have English language proficiency

• Minor computer knowledge for online safety training
