East Lansing Public Library is seeking qualified individuals for a part‑time internship supporting patrons with technology assistance.

• Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• Strong customer service orientation and patience when working with learners of all skill levels.
• Proficiency with common computer applications, operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android), internet browsers, and mobile devices.
• Flexible availability for scheduling.
• Familiarity with library digital resources (e.g., Libby, Hoopla). (Preferred)
• Experience in tutoring, teaching, or providing one‑on‑one technology assistance. (Preferred)

• Ability to sit and use computers for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

$15.29 per hour. 15‑20 hours per week, including day, evening, and weekend shifts. Contingent part‑time. Union position.
