Position

Senior Business Analyst – Michigan Department of Education (Office of Educational Supports). Full‑time, hybrid schedule (2 days onsite in Lansing, MI; 3 days remote).

A Senior Business Analyst is needed to support the enhancement and maintenance of the Consolidated Application within the Nex Sys platform. The role involves analyzing business processes and requirements related to the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, providing technical support for COTS packages, and serving as a liaison among business stakeholders, internal teams, and vendor partners.

• Analyze, document, and improve business processes and system requirements for the Consolidated Application.
• Provide technical support and system administration for Custom Off the Shelf (COTS) packages on the Management and Budget side.
• Collaborate with project resources and stakeholders to review, analyze, and evaluate business processes for enterprise‑level software implementations.
• Act as a strategic liaison between OES, regional field services consultants, managers, cross‑office teams, and vendor partners.
• Build, enhance, and maintain a business intelligence platform to support analytics requirements.

• Minimum 12 years of general Business Analysis experience.
• Experience with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology, Dev Ops practices, and business analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate requirements elicitation meetings.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Office located in Lansing, MI. The primary duty requires 2 days a week onsite; a hybrid schedule is available.
