Clinical Application Analyst II

The Clinical IT team is responsible for the optimization and ongoing support of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) application and auxiliary clinical systems that integrate with the EHR.

Reporting to the Clinical IT Operations Manager, the analyst will perform the following duties:

This person will receive daily guidance from UHW or stakeholders, yet remains responsible to IT leadership for upholding standards, maintaining excellence, and pursuing continuous education.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an information technology, systems training, or enterprise application configuration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Two to five years of experience managing and supporting an EHR and/or other health related applications.

• Clinical Informatics
• High level of expertise in the following technologies:
  • EMR applications
  • Lab Information Systems
  • LMS (Learning Management Systems)
  • HL7 (messaging and troubleshooting)
  • HTML, HTML5
• Business Analysis experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of technology users and leadership; strong written and verbal communication skills, high-level of customer relationship skills, attention to detail; ability to contribute to a high-performing team environment.
