First National Bankof America is seeking a Data Security Specialist
to improve the Bank's data governance and data loss prevention program. This role sits within Information Security, attends the Data Governance Council meetings and helps build standards. Data Security Specialist partners with Microsoft 365 administrators and Information Security on Microsoft Purview, providing governance direction, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) analysis, and control requirements.
- Data Security Analyst contributes to the Data Governance Council meetings, prepares agenda, and follow-ups
- Develop standards, procedures, and a records retention framework aligned Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA) requirements
- Keep governance documentation current, organized, and audit-ready across each phase of the program buildout
- Prepare governance reports, scorecards, and dashboards for leadership
- Create investigations, escalations, remediation, and communications into DLP and insider risk alerts and incidents. Analysis of user activity involving sensitive data, tune DLP policies, and help mature DLP processes and procedures
- 2+ years of experience in data governance, risk, compliance, or a related field
- Working knowledge of OCC, FFIEC, GLBA, and NACHA requirements as they apply to data governance
- Working understanding of data privacy, access management, and security controls
- Experience identifying CDEs and KDEs and managing data lineage
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage documentation and evidence across multiple concurrent projects
- Microsoft Purview
