As General Manager, you will serve as the cultural heartbeat of the restaurant—leading by example, championing high standards, and creating a space where both team members and guests feel seen and celebrated.

You will:

• Lead with empathy, vision, and clarity—coaching and uplifting your team daily.
• Model warm, engaging hospitality and ensure it shines through every guest interaction.
• Drive the store’s culture with authenticity and positivity.
• Guide managers and team members with hands-on mentorship and thoughtful communication.
• Teach, develop, and hold your team to Maru’s operational and hospitality standards.
• Craft smart, efficient schedules that support service without unnecessary labor cost.
• Understand and manage bar/beverage cost of goods and inventory needs.
• Oversee P&L performance and correct inefficiencies with a sharp, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Build guest loyalty by delivering exceptional experiences, time and time again.

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant.
• A genuine love for people and hospitality.
• Strength in organization, follow-through, and teaching others.
• Professional presence and the ability to lead with both heart and accountability.
• Physical ability to be on your feet for extended shifts and carry food/drink trays up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication in the language of our guests and team members.

Compensation: $65,000–$80,000 annually (based on experience)
