- Occasional mandatory travel for training and development.
- Order food following company process in a timely, cost-effective manner.
- Provide necessary information (production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, menus) to produce meals.
- Prepare meals per menus, processes, and expectations.
- Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, appropriately plated.
- Follow company process during meal service.
- Interact with residents in dining room to enhance experience.
- Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
- Use resident meal order information form to track physician ordered diets, allergies, preferences.
- Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Store food per regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Complete the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
- Ensure kitchen and dining room meet regulatory cleanliness requirements.
- Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders for food/refreshments for tours and events.
- High School Diploma or GED and one year related experience.
- Willing to take additional training or education required by specific states.
- Serv Safe, CPR and First Aid certifications required.
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management skills, good judgment, problem‑solving, decision‑making skills.
