Postdoctoral Scholar-Fixed Term
The Waker lab at Michigan State University has a postdoc position available in a Department of Energy project using chlorophyll fluorescence and gas exchange in a novel experimental design approach to characterize previously uncharacterized genes. The project will be performed in the MSU-DOE Plant Research Laboratory for an initial one-year appointment, with all intention of further extensions.

Doctorate
-PhD in Biochemistry, Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, statistics, or a related field.
Experience using chlorophyll fluorescence using PAM fluorometry, data analysis using mathematical models, and comfort with coding to control custom instrumentation.
Experience with gas exchange.
