Job Summary:Tryfacta is seeking a Laborer for our client in East Lansing, MI, 48823
. This is a temporary contract assignment.

Duration:3 months
Work Schedule:Mon to Thu (24hrs/ week)
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Position will assist trades staff with Haworth furniture projects, including selection, moving and loading of product, installations, and demolition. The position will assist with maintaining the Haworth inventory. The position may periodically assist skilled trades staff with preventative maintenance, repairs, or construction products at client-maintained facilities. This position will also assist with the delivery of surplus state property in conjunction with Haworth projects.
- Review furniture plans and pull lists to identify Haworth products to be used in installations.
- Locate, move, and load products to be used in installations.
- Travel to various client facilities and demolish or construct Haworth workstations, as needed.
- Return unused and extra inventory to storage.
- Assist skilled trades staff with preventative maintenance, repairs, and projects, as needed.
- Transport surplus state property from work sites to client surplus.
This job requires significant physical effort, consisting of lifting Haworth components and carrying them to and from the vehicle. Some sites require carrying components up multiple flights of steps. Bending, working in close quarters, climbing ladders, and riding in a vehicle for long periods of time are also efforts required of this position.
