Position Details
Role: Receptionist
Status: Full-time, 32-40 hours per week
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays; no nights, Sundays, or holidays; established set day off each week available if desired

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Receptionist who enjoys helping people, loves animals, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
Our reception team plays an essential role in keeping the hospital running smoothly. What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients in person and by phone
- Schedule appointments and efficiently manage a busy multi-doctor calendar
- Help prioritize scheduling needs and identify appointments that may require more urgent attention
- Check patients in and out and maintain accurate client and patient information
- Collect payments and process invoices accurately
- Review estimates and help clients understand charges and services
- Communicate hospital policies, pricing, and service information clearly
- Answer client questions and route medical concerns to the appropriate team member
- Manage medical record requests and ensure documentation is handled accurately
- Maintain appointment reminders and follow-up communications
- Update client and patient records within the hospital's practice management system
- Help coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and assistants
- Support efficient patient and client flow throughout the hospital
- Handle sensitive or emotional conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Assist with basic administrative tasks and daily front-desk responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Jump in wherever needed to support your teammates and keep the day running smoothly
