We’re hiring a Level 5 Vehicle Operator to support an industry‑leading autonomous mobility company. This is a full‑time, onsite opportunity based in East Liberty, OH
. In this role, you’ll operate Level 5 autonomous vehicles to support vehicle readiness, execute software and hardware tests, and help validate the platform before production launch. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering and operations teams, gaining direct exposure to the real‑world complexities of autonomous mobility.

- Operate Level 5 autonomous vehicles and complete structured test missions safely (driving 4–8 hours per day).
- Maintain a high level of safety awareness and contribute suggestions to improve operational processes.
- Support software deployment and execution of key testing tasks.
- Prepare vehicles for testing and ensure equipment readiness.
- Monitor onboard devices and troubleshoot issues before, during, and after missions.
- Escalate technical or safety concerns to the test coordinator as needed.
- Assist with documentation, data acquisition, annotation, and metrics capture.
- Provide detailed written and verbal feedback to engineering teams.
- Support the Mission Readiness team with basic preventative maintenance checks and services.
- Assist with logistical movement and storage of vehicles and equipment.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with the public.
- Experience working with and troubleshooting complex technical systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
- Reliable transportation to and from the test site.
- Ability to remain composed and adaptable in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, IT, STEM).
- Previous experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive, or aviation industries.
- Military experience (highly valued for operational discipline and adaptability).
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
Current Shift
- Tuesday – Saturday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Previous shifts have included Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedules, with both day and night options (6:15 AM – 2:45 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). Flexibility for shift changes is important as testing needs evolve.
- 30‑minute initial Zoom screen
- Panel interview (three back‑to‑back 30‑minute Zoom interviews)
