Job PurposeEquipment Service Technician responsible for maintaining of equipment. This includes responding to equipment emergency downtime, troubleshooting for root cause and repair as needed.
Key Accountabilities- Ability to troubleshoot and repair:
Robots, Servo Systems, Electrical Systems, Automated Machinery and Mechanical Systems - Interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic prints
- Complete assigned work orders and support production members in achieving the lines run rate efficiency
- Document daily (all) activity and information in Equipment Management Systems (Maximo)
- Support weekend preventative maintenance, repair and plant shutdown activities as well as new equipment installations and equipment modifications
Minimum Education al Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Two-year degree (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) or equivalent equipment maintenance experience
- Preferred 3 months of relevant experience
- Problem analysis skills, Robots, Servo Systems, Electrical Systems, Automated Machinery and Mechanical Systems, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word). Time management
- Manufacturing Environment
- Potential 5-10 hours overtime per week possible
- Weekend and Holiday work may be required
- Travel 2-3 weeks for training or other equipment issues
- 90% Standing vs sitting
- Moderate lifting may be required
- 16 hr. Preventive maintenance weekend overtime avg. per month
