We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and clinically skilled Nurse Practitioner (with behavioral health experience) to join our team.
Position SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up appointments, and collaborative care within an outpatient behavioral health setting. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and the ability to manage your own caseload with full administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EHR
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and administrative staff
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and agency standards
- Participate in case consultations as needed
- Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards at all times
- Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner License (required)
- Active DEA License (or ability to obtain)
- NPI, CAQH, Medicaid, Medicare/PTAN, and BWC enrollment preferred
- Experience in psychiatry, mental health, or substance use treatment strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical decision‑making skills
- Must pass background checks and credentialing requirements
- Least 1 year experience in mental health and med management
