OverviewThe following responsibilities and qualifications describe the role of an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician focused on preventative maintenance, plant instrumentation, electrical issues, and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) equipment. This description retains the core responsibilities and requirements of the position.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and safely performing duties.
- Maintains all facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, and electrical systems.
- Manages facility Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment.
- Completes scheduled preventative maintenance and weekly, monthly, and annual inspections.
- Maintains required logs, records, and documentation.
- Completes emergency repairs as needed.
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate degree in an electrical or instrumentation related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience in an industrial or chemical processing facility (required).
