Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Capturer to join our dynamic retail and wholesale operations team. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our internal data systems, which directly support inventory management, sales forecasting, customer service, and supply chain efficiency. As a Data Capturer, you will be responsible for the systematic entry, verification, and organization of large volumes of operational data from diverse sources including sales reports, delivery logs, supplier invoices, and customer orders.

Your meticulous attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities will ensure that our data infrastructure remains robust, compliant, and ready for strategic decision-making. Responsibilities:

  • Accurately capture and input data from physical and digital sources into designated databases and enterprise systems.
  • Verify data integrity by cross-referencing source documents with entered information to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all data-related records and documentation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors in data entries to relevant supervisors promptly.
  • Assist in preparing periodic reports and summaries based on captured data for operational review.
  • Support inventory tracking and reconciliation processes by entering and updating stock movement data.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure data alignment across departments.
  • Adhere to company data privacy policies and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Continuously improve data entry processes by suggesting efficiency enhancements and standardization practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in administration or data management is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in administrative or data entry roles, preferably within retail, wholesale, or supply chain environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong keyboarding and data entry speed and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Basic understanding of inventory or order management systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
  • Familiarity with data validation techniques and document management best practices.
