The Role: The Educational Team Leader (ETL) is responsible for organizing and chairing educational team meetings, including developing and maintaining the meeting calendar, ensuring timely notification to all relevant participants, and preparing the necessary materials in advance. ETLs collect and review evaluations, progress data, goals, and benchmarks from special education staff and related service providers to ensure that the team has accurate and comprehensive information on decision-making.
During meetings, ETLs lead discussions, maintain focus on student-centered outcomes, and record detailed meeting notes. They are responsible for drafting, revising, and finalizing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including proposed, amended, and updated versions, in alignment with state and federal requirements. ETLs collaborate closely with Student Services secretaries to oversee the accurate processing, distribution, and filing of IEPs and related documentation.
5 years special education teacher experience minimum.
Salary:
Per Unit A Contract $54,500-$100,580 Depending on degree.

Meadow Brook School serves East Longmeadow students in preschool through second grade in a nurturing child centered environment. At Meadow Brook, we feel that reaching children where they are functioning-academically, socially, emotionally, and physically-is critical to their development.
